Contract EnquirySmart Backup
Smart Backup works like regular data backup software, but with one important difference. Instead of sending backups to a tape drive or other media attached to the server, Smart Backup sends the backup data securely and safely over the Internet to our online backup servers.
A benefit of this backup solution is that it's fully automated. You do not need to remember to swap the backup media!
Smart Backup creates rolling daily, weekly and monthly backups automatically. This means data can be retrieved from the last 7 days or from a weekly backup over the last month or from a monthly backup over the last year.
There is a one time setup fee of $50.00. This covers creating an initial snapshot of your selected backup data on removable hard drive media and configuration of the remote backup services for your site on our backup servers.
- For commercial customers the monthly cost is $50.00 + $tiered scale per 1GB of data stored. (0-30GB at $5/GB, 31-50GB at $4/GB, 51-100GB at $3/GB, >100GB at $2/GB)
- For educational and non-profit organisations we have reduced the monthly cost to $50.00 + $2 per 1GB of data stored.
- Data retrieval is charged per hour at our standard charge out rate of $85.00
